Jeremy Thebeau

For 25 years, Jeremy Thebeau made his living with his hands as a union construction laborer. When a career-ending injury suddenly took him away from the work he had known for most of his adult life, he found himself facing an unexpected amount of time waiting for treatment and an uncertain future.

During that time, Jeremy became enthralled with watching Bob Ross paint. Eventually, watching wasn’t enough. He decided to pick up a brush and give it a try himself.

What started as a way to pass the time quickly became something much more. Jeremy discovered a natural talent he never knew he had—and a new way to create with the same hands that had spent decades building.

Sometimes life changes your plans completely. In Jeremy’s case, it uncovered an artist who had been there all along.

Today, each of his paintings represents more than a landscape on canvas. It’s a piece of an unexpected second chapter—one that began with a paintbrush, a little curiosity, and the decision to simply give it a try.
